ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hi, I'm Cherie, the author of Her Special Hair.  I am a mother of 4 beautiful children, two of which happen to be girls!

I first got the unction to write this guide when I worked for a popular department store styling salon and noticed the increasing number of Asian, Caucasian, and German mothers with their African-American/Biracial daughters who had what is affectionately known as nappy hair.

These parents desired to be able to style their own children's hair, but simply never had the answers they needed, so they brought them to us.

Well, now YOU'LL have the answers you need and will only go to a salon if you CHOOSE to and not because you HAVE to!

So, what qualifies me to teach you what you'll learn in my special report?

Well, aside from the  fact that I am an African-American woman who has pretty much taken care of my own hair for over 18 years, here are a few other qualifications I have to assure you that you can  trust me to give you good sound information that will help you with your hair woes:

  1. I am a licensed cosmetologist and many of my clients were children whose mothers HATED to see me leave the profession.   I also have experience caring for the hair of little girls in my community as well as my nieces and nephews.

  2. I have over 10 years of experience in styling my own two daughter's hair in easy, yet adorable styles and will show you how to do the same!

  3. Against the "normal" standards of the African-American hair industry, I am a strong advocate of NATURAL hair care.  Your daughter's hair will be at it's healthiest state in it's natural, unaltered form.   Many think that putting chemicals in it is the easiest and best way to manage it but I'll show you otherwise!

Now, I must inform you that if you are seeking advice about how to apply relaxers to your child's hair, this is NOT for you.  I am a STRONG advocate of natural hair care meaning, I instruct on the acceptance of the natural, kinky hair rather than feeding into the mainstream belief that it needs to be "fixed" by being straightened.  You will learn some things about chemical relaxers, but not anything that encourages the usage of them.

It has been a pleasure putting this information together for you and I hope I am able to help you and many other parents from all over.  Click here to order and allow me to help you care for YOUR daughter's hair!
